Here's a useful tip, before buying anything in this part of the world, checkout the Product Reviews first. We don't have much variety here, thus the LBS's would not be able to give you the best recommendations but instead recommend only what they have.
KL Bike Hash
Lots of Mat Sallehs here but all are welcome. Being the fastest does not necessarily mean that you will reach the end first. This is due to the many false trails. Caters to both advanced and beginners.
Paul Kok's Cycleflex Rides
Paul Kok is the unofficial narrator of Cycleflex's Weekend rides. This group caters to both the advanced and beginner where the advanced riders can cycle their hearts out while the beginners are given a chance to catch up at the various stops.
Knights Of The Round Table (KOTRT)
These are the Northern Malaysian riders who have the best of both worlds...burn and feed! Ahhh, only in Penang, where many tasty food comes from.
The Flying Wild Bunch
If you think that all of the above ride like grannies, then you should join this bunch. Weekly century rides and the occasional 200+kms rides seems to be the norm for this bunch of die-hards.
